A butterfly painted by hand in soft cream enamel, resting above a natural freshwater pearl drop. Enamel done this way means no two are identical, so the colour settles a little differently on every one. It has an old, collected quality to it, the sort of piece that looks like it has been in the family a while rather than bought last week. Adjustable through 8cm, so it can sit high at the throat or lower against an open shirt.
